False start for NBC's 'Heroes: Origins'
euphoria in

Fears of a writers strike may have already contributed to a decision NBC made Wednesday to pull the highly anticipated spinoff miniseries of its hit "Heroes" from a midseason launch.
NBC declined comment, but "Heroes: Origins" is not going to get its six-episode run, which was expected to start as early as late April. While the network hasn't officially canceled the spinoff, producers of the series have been given no indication of when it might get a spot on the schedule.
Sources indicated "Origins" may be just the first of many projects lined up at the broadcast networks in 2008 that will get downgraded as a result of the potential strike, which could severely affect the TV industry. Budget allocations made months ago for a range of scripted programs, many of which will not be feasible without sidelined writers, will likely be reconsidered and potentially shifted to strike-proof material like reality and news programs.
"Origins" had been highly touted as a midseason addition since NBC's upfront in May, when then-entertainment president Kevin Reilly envisioned spelling "Heroes" when it took a late-season hiatus. The network had been promoting "Origins" well in advance of its premiere, noting the enlistment of such top directors as Kevin Smith and Eli Roth to write and direct select episodes.
However, it is also possible that NBC, now under the creative direction of Ben Silverman, may have seen its enthusiasm diminish for an expansion of the "Heroes" franchise given a pronounced ratings drop-off in recent weeks for the flagship series.
It is unclear at what stage "Origins" was in the preproduction process, though it is unlikely scripts had been completed.
In other NBC news, unscripted series "The Singing Bee" has been yanked from the schedule for the upcoming November sweeps period in favor of expanded two-hour installments of "The Biggest Loser."
Heroes Season May Come To An End Faster Than Expected.

Heroes' second season may be coming to a close a lot sooner than expected due to the forthcoming apocalypse, also known in some circles as the damn writers' strike.
Sources confirm that the show is going back and shooting an alternate ending to the Dec. 3 episode that, if used, would allow the episode to function as a season finale in the event of a strike. Originally, the episode was only supposed to serve as the conclusion of the current "Generations" arc. Should an 11th-hour agreement be reached and a strike averted (fingers crossed!), the alt ending would likely be scrapped.

My first and most important Heroes theory is that I am hoping that once Sylar gets his powers back that he kills Alejandro and uses Illusion to appear like Alejandro and use the power with Maya.
Now, there are a few reasons for this - no, I am not pro-the bad guy, but I assume Alejandro is going to die soon since it would be pointless to have them both around for a long period of time.. I mean, she's no real threat if he can just keep healing everything and I like him, so I don't want him to disappear because he's hot, too, so if Sylar looked like him all the time then the actor could stay around, too. I think Sylar will probably like Maya on some level - not sure if it would be love, but fear, appreciation, or simply because he feels like she is dangerous and petrified and powerful.. I am not sure.. I have no idea, really.
I am really hoping Alejandro can shoot out the icky black stuff that I call poison from.. his eyes or his fingertips because that would be awesome and it really doesn't look healthy.
When Matt was taken in the first season by The Company, he was unconscious for days and The Haitian (who I love so much) erased days of his memory and he woke up on his couch thinking he had a hangover, but remembering the Haitian, so I am wondering if his father saw him then and maybe even talked to him or used his power or something else...
His father scares me.
Bob the Gold Guy's power is registered under Transmutation, which is alchemy. There isn't a more definite description yet, so I am hoping he is only gold and not alchemy because he is scary and sucks.
Peter has Electromagnetism, which I thought he had - well, I didn't he had THAT, I just thought he had electric power this season and he does! The only person presently with the same power is a teenage boy that Suresh helped in the Graphic Novel, so I am guessing he got it from him somehow during the time he was away. In the Anti-Future episode Peter gets the power from an Agent that works for Matt, but I am guessing that is probably the teenager in the future episode, too, because he was already in the clutches of the Company.
If Daddy Parkman can puppeteer people I will be so happy. I have been thinking West was being puppeteered since I first saw him, but I have on idea what I think now. I do not have it out for West, I just do not trust him. If I were Claire I would totally fall for him, though. That's way too charming, haha. I would die and he's hot, so yeah. But, to me, it looked as if he was controlling Molly when she said she would look for the Nightmare Man and then, it seemed that she was trapped in her own mind, which made me think if Ino from Naruto, but only versus people like Sakura - where they can't be entirely pushed out of their bodies, but if she was pushed aside like that, he could probably control her body.
This made me think of the idea I had much earlier, which is a lot of Heroes have powers depending on their parents:
Claire had healing because her mother had fire, so she wouldn't get burned.
The Haitian has the ability to erase memories and negate powers around him are because his father had such an insane power and caused such horrible memories and also would have hurt him, too, if he could not have stopped it and then erased the memory of his father and what he had done and the memories of the victims, too.
Matt had to be able to hear peoples thoughts so he could figure out whose body and mind his father were in. -nods-
I had origianally thought, when they first said 'Horn Rimmed Glasses' guy, I did not even think of Noah until it obviously pointed to him. The first person I thought of was Bob, but as I said, then it pointed to him, HOWEVER, I read that his glasses are not horn rimmed and that in Company Man, they show a flashback of him trying those kind on but Claire says they make him look like a grandpa so he does not buy them. I am not sure if this is going to be played into the show, but I hope so - they could MISTAKE him or something else, but.. yeah. I love Noah!
I have a big of a headache and this is going slow, so this is it for now. I have more in my head but that's for another time.
